E-mail

When your message is about your account, please write from the e-mail address of your Filmdex account, so that we can confirm it is you. Never send us your password.

Report a user or content

When you are signed in, use the Report button on someone's profile, on their card in your friends list, or next to a recommendation they sent you. Choose what you are reporting and why and, if you like, add details. The person you report is not told who reported them.

Not signed in, or the problem is somewhere else? E-mail us the username or a link and a short description. To flag a wrong quiz question, use the report option in the quiz itself.

Legal notices and takedown requests

To notify us of illegal content or of content that infringes your rights (for example copyright), e-mail supportfilmdex@gmail.com with:

• your name and contact details (and on whose behalf you act, if not your own);
• where the content is (the username, a link or a screenshot);
• the work or right concerned and why you believe the content is illegal or infringing;
• a statement that the information is accurate and given in good faith.

More about how we handle notices is in the Terms of Use. Requests from authorities are handled as the law requires.

Privacy requests

• Download your data: your profile → Settings → Download my data.
• Correct your details: your profile → Edit profile.
• Delete your account: your profile → Settings → Delete account.
• Anything else, including applications under Article 11 of the KVKK or the GDPR: e-mail us from the address of your account. See the Privacy Policy and the KVKK information notice.

What to expect

We read every message. Privacy requests are answered within one month (30 days for KVKK applications), and notices of illegal content are handled without undue delay. Other questions are answered as soon as we can; Filmdex is run by one person, so please allow some time.
